Plus, Los Tucanes de Tijuana nab third Regional Mexican Airplay top 10 with “Ranchero y Medio.”

A week after the remix of Natti Natasha’s “La Mejor Versión De Mi” with Romeo Santos arrived in the top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, the bachata tune lands at No. 1 on the Tropical Airplay chart dated Oct. 26.

It’s the second No. 1 for Natti, who secured her first leader in April 2012 through her featured role in Don Omar’s “Dutty Love.” Romeo, meanwhile, breaks away from a three-way tie with Elvis Crespo and Gilberto Santa Rosa for the fourth-most leaders, as he now stands alone with 15 No. 1s.

“Mejor” rules with 21 million in audience (a 21% gain) earned in the week ending Oct. 20, according to Nielsen Music, and moves 18-12 on the Latin Airplay chart.READ MORERomeo Santos Joins Natti Natasha For ‘La Mejor Versión De Mi’ Remix: Watch

On Hot Latin Songs, which blends airplay, streaming data and digital sales, “Versión” holds steady at No. 10 for a second week. Further, it continues its ascent on Latin Streaming Songs (18-16) despite a 1% decline in streams for the week.

Elsewhere, Los Tucanes de Tijuana nab their 34th top 10 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart with “Ranchero Y Medio” as the song climbs 12-10. It’s the norteño group’s fourth-most record-extending 34th top 10 overall since the chart’s inception in 1985.

The Mario Quintero-fronted group last visited the tally’s top region in 2014 when “Soy Parrandero” peaked at No. 7.

“Ranchero” also sees progress on other Latin charts as it surges 36-28 on the Latin Airplay list thanks to a 25% increase in audience impressions (to 5 million).
